I did not come and update where we have been lately.  We have done 9 more weddings since my last post.  Brhianna and Mason on 3/30, Cindy and Ron on 3/17, Bridget and Ray on 2/10, Rachel and David on 2/24, Anna and Shea on 12/2, Mary Hannah and Grant on 12/18, Kaitlyn and Zach on 10/14, and Faith and Michael on 10/7.  I have to get back on the ball here.  Sorry about that!

We were at Marina and Venod’s reception this past weekend.   The venue was the Abingdon By the River club house.  The food was provided by B & A Warehouse – it was very good.  We played some Bollywood music from several different soundtracks, and they went over big time.  Fun was had by all.  We sent the happy couple on their honeymoon with a bang!

We were at Loren and James’ wedding last weekend.  The venue was the Oxmoor Valley Golf Club.  The wedding was outside on the deck.  We then moved everything inside and partied the night away.  Everyone had a ball.  Good luck to the happy couple.

We were at Katherine and Casey’s wedding Saturday night.  The venue was the Clubhouse on Highland – a beautiful older artsy hose with gorgeous architecture.  The ceremony went well, and everyone was sent outside so the room could be flipped.  They then came back in and ate, and later we started the dance music.  The floor was full all night.  The glowsticks were a great addition.  Everyone had fun, and we sent the happy couple on their way at 9:30.  Good luck to them!

We were at the SCA corporate party tonight.  We do this for them every year.  It had a theme of “The 1980’s”.  That is right up my alley.  After the crew ate, we got them on the dance floor playing great 80’s dance music.  They danced the night away.

We were at Emily Ann and Matt’s wedding on the 17th of September.  The venue was Inverness Country Club.  The food was great.  The Father /Daughter dance was to a song sung by the father of the bride.  The dance floor was full all night.  Everyone had fun.

We were at Rachel and Joey’s wedding last night.  The venue was Oak Island Mansion in Wilsonville – which is on the river, and was pretty great!  The weather was cool, and windy which made it worse.  The ceremony went well, and everyone went to get something to eat.  We kicked up the dance music after that, and everyone had fun.  They headed off to their honeymoon afterward.   Good luck to the happy couple!

We were at our dear friend Lexie and Justin’s wedding last night. The venue was the beautiful Windwood Equestrian in Pelham. The million-dollar horses, and the trains passing by on the property add to the ambiance. The ceremony was held outside at sunset. After that the reception was out on the courtyard with the big fireplace. The good food was from Jim n’ Nicks. After the cake cutting, we cranked up the dance music, and everyone danced.
