We were at Meredith and Ben’s wedding this past Saturday night.  The venue was ShelB Acres in Helena.  Ben’s had a really cool groom’s cake – that was 1/3 Yoda, 1/3 Darth Vader, and 1/3 R2D2.  It rained cats and dogs all night long – so we brought everything inside and danced the night away.

We were at Tammy and Bill’s wedding last night at Park Place in Hoover.  The food was extra great!  The happy couple changed clothes after the ceremony, we cranked up and dance music, and they danced the night away!

We were at Katie and Kyle’s wedding this afternoon.  The venue was Altedena Presbyterian Church here in Birmingham.  It was a very nice formal ceremony that was 35 minutes long.  We got into the reception ready to have fun.  There was good food and a bunch of different desserts.  We cranked up the dance music and EVERYONE danced.

We were at Lauren and Drew’s wedding yesterday.  The venue was at The Waters community in Pike Road, AL.  They were married in the chapel, and we had the reception under a tent next door.  Drew disappeared for a while, and I had to explain to him – You are married now, and your wife must know where you are at all times….. ha ha!  We cranked up the dance music, and everyone danced.

Last night we were at Alex and Josh’s wedding at Applewood Farms in Pell City.  They were married under the big tree there.  Everything moved into the barn and everyone hit the buffet which was very good.  After the cake cutting, we cranked up the dance music and everyone had fun.

We were at Allison and Casey’s wedding this past Saturday.  The venue was The Battle-Friedman House in Tuscaloosa.  It is a very beautiful old antebellum house.  We got the ceremony in outside before the storms rolled in.  We set up the dance floor on the large porch, and everyone danced.  Fun was had by all.

We were at our friends Carly and Nick’s wedding last night.  The venue was Anderson Gail Farms in Shelby, Alabama.  The ceremony was one of the best we have ever seen.  It was very hearfelt.  The food was good.  After the cake cutting, we cranked up the dance music, and everyone danced.  A special song was “I Want It That Way” – where the groomsman acted like the Backstreet Boys and sang it encircling the Bride.

We were at Wendy and Christopher’s wedding last night.  The venue was Grabrella Manor in Birmingham.  The ceremony had to be moved inside because of the rain.  The food was fantastic!  We cranked up the dance music and everyone danced al night long.

On Saturday night, we did a 50th Birthday party for Leigh.  It was at the Heatherwood Country Club in Birmingham.  It was so much fun!  After we all ate, we started the dance music and EVERYONE danced all night long.  Happy Birthday Leigh!!

We had the honor of DJ’ing the US Army 20th Special Forces Group Formal tonight.  This was our second year doing this.  The first part of the night very ceremonial with promotions, and honoring those that have fallen in the line of duty from this group.  These soldiers have done things that I don’t want to know about, and did it to protect MY and YOUR freedom.  What a great group.  We then slid into the dance portion of the night, and had many dancing all night long.
