Logan and Steven’s Wedding

We were at Logan and Steven’s wedding last night.  The venue was The Sonnett House in Leeds – what a very nice place!  The ceremony went very well and smoothly.  We then went to the patio for the reception.  We found out that the groom had danced to “Itsy Bitty Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini” in a show many years before.  We played it and he danced to it again.  Everyone had fun and danced the night away – especially the Bride’s father.  The happy couple was then sent on their way to the Florida Keys on the honeymoon.

Anna and Jeremy’s Wedding

We were at Anna and Jeremy’s wedding tonight.  The venue was The Reid Brake House in Warrior.  This was more of a country music crowd.  Played a lot of that genre.  Everyone had a blast.  Yee Haw!

Lesley and Patrick’s Wedding

We were at Lesley and Patrick’s wedding this past Saturday night.  The venue was Applewood Farms in Pell City.  The food was good.  Lesley’s father danced all night long.  Someone brought out a bunch of test tube shooters for the bridal party.  I have not seen those in years.  Fun was had by all.

Casey and Jordan’s Wedding

We were at Casey and Jordan’s wedding last night.  The venue was The Lodge at the Doublehead Resort in Town Creek, AL.  The ceremony took place on the deck right next to the Tennessee River.  We then moved inside for the reception.  An unexpected karaoke contest between the Bridesmaids and Groomsmen broke out…. the Bridesmaids won after round 4.  Fun was had by all, and danced the night away.

Kidney Walk of North Alabama

We were the official DJ for the Kidney Walk of North Alabama yesterday in Huntsville.  It was great to see all of the people that came out to help raise money for research to fight kidney disease.  A total of about $76,000 was raised.  Fun was had by all.

Meg and Sam’s Wedding

We were at Meg and Sam’s wedding last night in Pell City.  The venue was Sam’s parents spread, and I do mean spread!  I am guessing there was about 200 guests.  They were all fed with fantastic food from The Fish Market of Birmingham – and was being cooked by owner/chef George Sarris.  The couple had a cheese cake – not cheesecake, but a cake made of several kinds of cheese.  We then kicked off the dance portion of the night, and the dance floor by the pool was full all night long.

Heather and Jason’s Wedding

We were at Heather and Jason’s wedding this past Saturday.  It was out by Lake Jordan.  Heather’s mom made the food, it was really good.  We cranked up the dance music after the cake cutting and everyone had a blast!

Julia and Patrick’s Wedding

We were at Julia and Patrick’s wedding last night.  The venue was Walter’s Farm out in Ragland.  The ceremony was wonderful out by the river.  We then moved into the barn for the reception.  It was fun and the food was great.  The father of the bride was the dancer of the night.  Everyone had a ball.

Crossing Points Prom

Last night – we were at one of the most fun events that we have ever done.  Crossing Points is a program at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa that provides special needs adults from the age of 18-21 training on how to transition into a regular job or workplace.  There is a prom every year for these adults to let their hair down and have fun.  They had a ball!  They danced for all 3 hours that we were there with big smiles on their faces.  An on campus Sorority and Fraternity sponsored the prom, and would dance with the adults and showed them a great time.  To see these adults having so much fun was very uplifting for me and my wife.  We hope that they call us again next year for this event… we loved it, and will never forget it.

Amber and John’s Wedding

We were at Amber and John’s wedding tonight.  The venue was The Heritage House in Odenville.  The ceremony went well, everyone ate great food, and they danced the night away.  Then… there was the dancer that tried to do the “Sprinkler”, lost their balance, and took out 6 chairs and a table.  Ouch!
